Any dust mask will suit the purpose. You don't need anything special. I'm assuming that you would be wearing gloves to rip out the stuff, and don't plan to be eating in amongst the dust and debris. Gerbies won't eat through a dust mask anyway. Most bacteria would have been long dead anyway- lack of moisture and incorrect temperatures would have done them in. The stink- well that's a different matter all together, and one that isn't a health hazard. It's just hazardous to the contents of your stomach. Pneumonia is not a product of urine. Do you mean ammonia? That would have long since evaporated anyway. Your plywood may be stained, but it won't pose a health hazard to you. You could clean it with any standard household disinfectant you liked, and let it dry well- and then re-carpet. I know the situation is rather disgusting sounding, and definitely unhygenic with the carpet in place, but honestly, once you rip out the carpet and padding- washing the underfloor is really all you need to do. N95 is the bare minimum, ABSOLUTELY nothing less. I'd say in the most extreme circumstances (people coughing all over you who have the swine flu) I'd give it an hour tops. Then not trust it anymore. However in everyday normal human contact as long as it stays dry (no excessive moisture) and sealed it should be fine for quite a few hours. Don't go by me though , check the box. You should seriously consider having the asbestos removed by an asbestos removal company as it is not safe for you to remove it yourself. Also, the asbestos needs to be disposed of properly by law, i.e. not dumbed in a garbage bin or on a tip.
If the apartment is not your own - i.e. you are renting it - then your landlord has the responsibility to have the asbestos removed safely.
I am concerned for you as I wondering what sort of condition the asbestos is in and how long you have been exposed to it? i.e. when it is damaged or degraded it is what is known as being (friable) which means that the asbestos material is releasing fibers and dust into the air and can be inhaled.

The brand isn't so important as long as the mask fits snugly around the nose and mouth and has charcoal filters. When you are not using it keep it inside an airtight plastic bag. The charcoal loses effectiveness over time when it is exposed to oxygen.

I am having a hard time finding any ceramic masks that haven't been painted. They need to be the ones that are pretty and look more natural. The only ones that I can find are pretty expensive. look up crackle paint and how to achieve it. It's usually a base paint plus top coat. Usually in the spray paint section of hardware stores.

I have a friend who worked on the film - there were only two of the proper masks, one went to Hugo Weaving, the other to the director so I doubt they'd be parting with them and if they did they'd be auctioned for... a lot.
The remainder, worn by the hundreds and hundreds of other V's at the climax of the film were regular plastic masks which I believe the extras got to take home with them.
So I can't help you with the high quality versions, as for the rest, you could just search on the net and see what comes up for V or even just Guy Fawkes masks.
Interesting that the film made Fawkes out to be a hero yet the holiday (such as it is) is really to remember what a villain he was - we do burn his effigy after all. They have a kit that I got at Hobby Lobby about a week ago; it had the mold for the mask, the plaster of paris (I think that's what it was anyways), not to mention all of the embellishements to decorate it. I think it said there was enough plaster in there for like 3-5 masks. If you want to make more than that I would assume you'd be able to buy more plaster of paris %26amp; use the mold you get with the kit. I believe it was only $10-15. If you don't have a hobby Lobby nearby you could always check Michaels or Joanns. Oh, %26amp; the kit was in the kids boxed art section. Good luck.Ceramic mask.?

Again, that's debatable and I won't get into who is right, but since that time there has been a lot of discussion on who exactly has the rights to the mask.
I also think I heard that Ronn Lucas purchased the idea from Joel from Mystery Science Theater 3000 (the Television show), but can't recall where I heard that nor whether that information is correct. So don't judge me if I am wrong there.

Well after a good laugh from reading your question and all the well meaning responses... You seemed to be getting everything but what you were looking for!!!
I know they go on your head, but they are called SPRAY SOCKS! They are to protect your hair from getting full of paint when using a sprayer to paint the ceilings and walls! They actually go down to the neck, but they get hot and so people cut them to make them more comfortable!

And yes, it is to keep the blowback from spray painting from coating the painter, hehehe... There is no nose or mouth covering, because the workers that actually wear these, are also wearing respirators.

its a movie you would show to a junior high choir class. I used to love it but I know it isn't called phantom of the opera. The man lives alone in his castle (I remember very little because it was so long) and this girl comes along and he starts giving her singing lessons. He wears half a mask and he has to walk around with a cane because he was burnt (actually I don't know what the reason is, I just remember his face was greenish and deformed and he limped when he walked and he walked with a cane) and he was got amde alot at the girl. Why is the 129th Rescue Wing's flag at half mask?
California National Guard 129th Rescue Wing located at Moffett Field http://www.129rqw.ca.ang.af.mil/ has flown it's flag at half mask for at least a week. The flag on the main part of the base called AMES Research Park has been at it's regular position on the flag pole. Call some AKC Registered St. Bernard breeders. The AKC is a persnikety bunch. They may tell you one thing and after you have commited and done the deed reject the puppies. Very political organization. Is your dog registered and what is his pedigree? If he does not have a pedigree they will never accept him.

Will an size small Itech half visor/half cage mask fit my CCM Vector V04 helmet size medium?

CCM helmets are painful to fit with Itech cages, regardless of size. You can get away with it, but the j-clips have to be really forced into place to sit on the bottom two screws, and its nearly impossible to get them sitting up high.
The small cage will definitely fit the helmet size-wise, but it is just a giant pain to put it together. If you can find one, buy either the FM vector or FM 480, both are CCM cages, and fit WAY easier than the Itech cages.
CCM helmets are painful to fit with Itech cages, regardless of size. You can get away with it, but the j-clips have to be really forced into place to sit on the bottom two screws, and its nearly impossible to get them sitting up high.

Those rubber masks are very realistic. One of those and a cape and you are set! However, being claustrophobic I couldn't stand being in one for more than 5 mins. Let me out of here! Hot! Poor visibility! Difficult to eat or drink! If I had to spend any time at all in costume, I would definitely opt for just makeup--no mask.

I wore a full mask ONCE. Boy was it hot. After a while you feel like you can't breathe, you sweat and usually can't eat or drink without taking the dang mask off. Please don't wear any makeup under the mask or it will run into your eyes when you sweat (I think it gets moist under there too, because you are breathing out of a small area and your exhalations stay in the mask somewhat)

If you can't find a mask, do your hair like her and find makeup that will match your skin tone to hers.
For clothing I would try to find a dress similar to one of the dresses she wore at the convention because they will be the most recognized.

There is a uropygial gland on the tail, right above the vent of many parrots. It's their preen gland %26amp; sometimes, if this gland is dry, irritated, itching or otherwise bothering them, they can mutilate it.
This is true of their vent also. Lift her %26amp; carefully feel her abdomen, from about the center of her belly to her vent. If you feel anything hard, she may be egg bound (carrying an egg that she can't pass). If you think she may be egg bound, she needs to be taken to an avian vet ASAP, but in the mean time, she needs warmth %26amp; increased humidity...vaporizers work well.
If you don't feel anything hard, check her vent area to be sure that that is where the blood is coming from. Since she is moving around, it could be that she broke a blood feather. Hens that are egg bound are usually lethargic %26amp; look sick, as the egg often presses on internal organs.

So I'm supposed to go to a costume/pool party but I have no clue about the costume. I want to surprise people (since I haven't seen them in a while) and have them not know who I am right away (plus also trying to avoid people I know will be there and hiding behind a mask is perfect to hide in plain sight). But I also want to look nice/cute. Anyone have ideas on what I can do for a costume?Female mask costume ideas?

There is absolutely NO way to mask or hide the smell of a female in heat. The only way to prevent her emitting the scent is to have her spayed. Spaying is also important in preventing unwanted puppies who usually end up in shelters or worse, euthanized. Their government has been quite corrupt for about 90 years, it is just now trying to enter the real world of the 21st century. Their military is anemic, and local police are mainly available for purchase at the right price. There is a vast difference between the rich and poor in Mexico. There is a very small middle class. The only people I see on an everyday basis that wear masks are landscapers. They do it to keep from breathing in the alergans and dust. A lot of people who work with insulation wear masks also. There are a lot of dangerous jobs where people have to protect their lungs from dangerous particles. But, they are not all Mexicans.
