auntb93... has some good advice, I would listen. Having lived in Texas off and on most of my life, I have had a good deal of contact with the Mexican culture. I am fluent in Spanish and I think I understand them. For the most part The Mexicans outlook of life is somewhat different than ours. Their government has been quite corrupt for about 90 years, it is just now trying to enter the real world of the 21st century. Their military is anemic, and local police are mainly available for purchase at the right price. There is a vast difference between the rich and poor in Mexico. There is a very small middle class. Money talks, when all else fails.With outlaws with masks on are shooting close to our border, should we be alarmed that the mexican government?
It would help if you told us what you mean by this. For example, with all the emphasis on immigration law these days, you could mean people trying to get over the border when you say ';outlaws.'; Or, for that matter, you could be referring to people who are shooting strictly in self-defense.





But we should be concerned that Mexico cannot control its outlaws, no matter how near or far from our border. It is my considered opinion that Mexico is a hidy-hole for many of OUR outlaws, and so the problem may not even be about Mexican outlaws at all. Or it may be about wars between Mexican outlaws and American outlaws, or who knows? That's why I say we need more information about to what you are referring.
