Creative Ideas for a Ceramic Mask?

My assignment in ceramics is to create a mask. After molding it, i will have to paint it


I don't have any ideas, can you help me?

there is a great website called Masks of the World that literally has hundreds of great ceramic and wooden masks. everything from north american indian, to african, to mexican, to oceanic. and i like the way they display the masks. you don't have to look at them one at a time, you pull up a group...say ';oriental';...and 30-50 mask thumb-nails are displayed for your viewing pleasure.

I don't have pics, but google venetian masks. Venice is famous for its carnivale and the masks are very beautiful!
Make a mask of Howard Stern! That would be hillarious!
